The EMS/speedpost was established in 1986 as a courier arm of the Cameroonian Postal Service following the decision of the universal postal union(UPU) at its 1984 congress in Hamburg, Germany for member-countries to set up courier service as a direct response to the incursion of private courier companies into the traditional domain of the post.

    EMS/speed post ensures very speedy delivery of all items. The service offers a standard delivery time of 24-48hrs for domestic items and 48-72hrs for international items.

Taking advantage of its membership of the universal postal union (UPU), it is represented all over the world in more than 129 countries.
